"Fort Gratiot Light"

Located near Port
Huron, Michigan, Fort Gratiot
Lighthouse was
the first lighthouse commissioned
on Lake Huron.
It has joined most of the rest of
the lights on
the Great Lakes, by being recently
decommissioned
by the Coast Guard. It will, no
doubt, be preserved
as a treasured, local landmark.
