Special people deserve mention on these pages. Ms. Anita Riley, of Empress Pekingese is such a person. A former law enforcement officer, Anita's dear husband, Floyd Allen "Al" Riley, also a Sheriff's Officer, gave his life in the service of his fellow citizens of Garland County, Arkansas. Anita carries on in his name, and in the name of all who have fallen. Her kennel, "Empress Pekingese of Hot Springs", raises and shows some of the finest examples of Pekingese dogs in the country. A most special person, she would appreciate a visit from anyone who shares her love of this country, and who admires this beautiful breed of dogs. It was my very great honor to have done this portrait of "Showy".
